Lab development
Organized and built an excellent state of the art Microelectronics and MEMS laboratory housed in the EE Department at IIT Madras for educating students and for manpower training and manpower development in the country in the Microelectronics and MEMS field. In fact several students trained in this laboratory have joined the industries such as BEL, Bangalore, Defence and Space organizations, Private Industries such as WIPRO, GE, TI (India) to name a few.
