Visiting Professor in the EE Department at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington (USA) during January 1, 1999 to December 31, 1999. During this period, taught courses on Electron Devices and Circuits and carried out R&D work in the MEMS area and participated in the program on the Micro machined Faraday Cup Array.
Post Doctoral Research Associate in the ECE Department , Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY (USA) during September 1,1979 to August 31, 1981. During this period , worked on the "Development of Polycrystalline thin film Gallium Arsenide Solar Cell Technology" and "Diffused junction bulk wafer Gallium Arsenide Solar cell Technology"
On Deputation from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, to the Division of Electro Physics and Electronic Engineering, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY (USA) for 1 year during September 1, 1973 to August 31, 1974 for training in Silicon IC Technology. During this period, gained hands-on experience in Silicon IC technology, designed, fabricated and characterized
high voltage p-i-n diodes.
