Conferences/Seminars

  • General co-chair (along with Prof. Krishna Jagannathan (EE, IITM)) for the National Conference on Communications 2024, held between 28 Feb - 02 March 2024 at IIT Madras.

  • Organized two sessions on Microwave Inverse Scattering Problems and Applications with Raffaele Solimene during PIERS 2019, Rome. These two sessions attracted a total of 19 papers from different researchers across the world.

  • Organized sessions on Inverse Scattering and Imaging (with Lianlin Li, Matteo Pastorino, Shouhei Kidera, and Amitabha Bhattacharya) and Computational Methods in Electromagnetics (with Shinichiro Ohnuki, and Qing Huo Liu) at the 2019 URSI Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference held at New Delhi, March 17-20 2019.

  • Organized a workshop on Microwave Remote Sensing at IIT Madras, with participants from JPL (Paul Rosen, Piyush Shanker), IITB (Avik Bhattacharya, Y S Rao), IISc (Satyabala), and IITM (Harishankar Ramachandran and many others). A public lecture on the NISAR mission by Dr. Paul Rosen, co-sponsored by IEEE was also held on 15 Nov 2016 at IIT Madras.

  • Special session on Computational advances in radar scattering from rough and vegetated surfaces, co-organized with Prof. Mahta Moghdaddam at the International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA) in Cairns, Australia. The conference is coupled with the IEEE-APS Topical Conference on Antennas and Propagation in Wireless Communications, Sept. 19-23, 2016.

  • Half day seminar on Compressive Sensing at IIT Delhi, 22 Feb 2016. Speakers featured Mayank Bakshi (Tutorial on Compressive Sensing and a research talk on Sparse Recovery), and Kedar Khare (Research talk on Phase Imaging).
