About the Symposium
The Smart City Conference series, sponsored by The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), is conducted by
Japanese researchers in collaboration with researchers in different countries of Asia. The first in the series was held at
IISc Bangalore, India, and subsequent editions have taken place at University Putra Malaysia in Malaysia and IIT Madras
(IITM) in India. The 2022 as well as the 2023 editions were held online. The proposed Smart City Workshop 2024 will also be held online. The
Workshop will feature expert talks, technical presentations, and short presentations by students.
Registration is free for keynote speakers, speakers of IEEJ session and for student participants.

Important Dates
Type 1 Speakers submit Extended Abstract (2 pages) on EasyChair by March 11, 2024, and pay a registration fee. No fee for students.
Type 2 Speakers who need archival of their articles, register and upload manuscript (4 to 6 pages) on IEEJ site by January 22, 2024 and March 7, 2024 respectively. No fees for these speakers.
