Prerequisites

Course : E3202 Signals and systems(continuous time systems)
Course : E3301 Electronic Circuits
Knowledge of : Laplace transforms, linear differential equations, small signal frequency domain analysis, active(bipolar and MOS transistor) circuit analysis, transistor amplifiers, ideal op-amp behavior, op amp nonidealities, feedback systems.

Course contents

This course deals with the synthesis and design of lumped element continuous time lumped passive and active filters with emphasis on integrated circuit realizations. Passive, gm-C, and opamp-RC realizations of filters with arbitrary rational transfer functions, their nonidealities, and methods of automatic tuning to obtain constant filter parameters in face of varying component values will be discussed.
