There will be one midterm (on institute quiz 2 schedule) that counts towards 20% of the grade and an end semester exam that counts towards 40% of the grade. There will be three design projects that will count towards the remaining 40%. Homework assignments will count for up to 10% of the grade.

Assignments will be posted below, and will be due at the beginning of class on the corresponding dates below. You are expected to solve them on your own. You can approach the teaching assistants for clarifications and help.
Attendance will be strictly enforced and those falling short will not be permitted to write the end sem exam. TAs will go around the room taking attendance at the beginning of the class. If you are more than 5 min. late, please do not enter the classroom.
