Title: Miniaturized organic thin film transistors: Bias stress study and performance enhancement using improved TFT architecture

Abstract :

The solution-processed organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) with a minimal device footprint and improved performance are desirable for flexible electronics and other circuit applications. The low-temperature processing and the compatibility with conformable/flexible substrates like plastics and paper makes OTFT technology a preferred contender for the future flexible and foldable electronics. Even though a noticeable development is made in OTFT technology in terms of improved figures of merit and overall performance, achieving device scaling and operational reliability is still a significant challenge because of the soft and amorphous nature of organic semiconductors and dielectrics.
