Instructions to Graduands
Dear Graduands,
The Degree Distribution Programme of the Dept. of Electrical Engineering will be held on 11.07.2025 at 2:30 p.m. in the Students Activity Center (SAC). Graduands are required to occupy their allotted seats in the Bowl area by 1:45 p.m.
Due to space constraints at the venue, the number of guests permitted for the Departmental Degree Distribution Programme will be limited.
Kindly take note of the following points:
* All faculty members and graduands (PhD, MS, MTech, Web-based MTech, Dual Degree, and BTech) will be seated in the Bowl area.
* Each graduand is permitted to bring three guests, who will be accommodated in the Gallery area. The event will be live cast on youtube and additional guests and view it on their personal devices.
* Guests are kindly requested to follow the instructions of the staff and seat themselves closely, without leaving gaps, to ensure optimal use of available space.
* Guests are requested to not block the views of others by standing up to take photographs. Professional photographs of the graduand receiving the degree, with the folder closed, will be taken and shared later.
* All graduands and guests are requested to put their mobile phones in silent mode/switch off mode.
As degrees will be distributed to more than 400 students, it is essential to follow the protocol strictly:
* All attendees should rise when the chief guest enters the stage.
* Graduands should remain seated throughout the event except when you have to walk up to the stage to receive your degree or prize.
* Protocol for walking to the stage:
- The staff will guide you on how to approach and move on the stage.
- When your name is called, walk to the designated spot next to the HoD, receive the folder, and exit from the other side.
- Since time is limited, please do not open the folder on the stage.
- A photograph of the graduand receiving the degree, with the folder closed, will be taken and shared later.
- If there is a discrepancy in the certificate, you can approach the staff members after the event for resolution. Do not disturb the proceedings of the programme.
* Graduands should return to their designated seat after walking off the stage.
* Graduands should remain seated until the chief guest leaves the stage at the end of the event and MC issues instructions to disperse.
Distribution of Angavasthram and Refreshment Coupons:
Please collect the Angavasthram and Refreshment coupon in ESB127 on 10.07.2025 @ 09.00 a.m to 08.00 p.m. They can also be collected them between 8.00 a.m. to 09.00 a.m. on 11.07.2025. Students who collect the Angavastram on 11.07.2025 will receive the degrees at the end of the programme.
- Those who collected the angavasthrams on the 10th will be in the main list
- Those who collected the angavasthrams on the 11th will be at the end
- On 11th, anvgavastram collection will be upto to 9:00 am.
