Course ContentIntroduction: Review of linear electrical networks. Two port treatment using the scattering matrix – the Vector Network Analyzer. Reciprocity, Duality and Interreciprocity, Bode Sensitivity. Advanced Frequency compensation techniques.Noise in linear time invariant networks.Linear time varying and linear periodically time varying (LPTV) system analysis. Periodic transfer functions, Periodic AC analysis. Noise in LPTV systems – discrete time , mixed continuous-time/discrete-time analog circuits and frequency translating circuits. Phase noise in oscillators.Weakly nonlinear networks and the Volterra Series formulation – applications to Filters and data converters.
