Basic quantum mechanics: Schrodinger’s equation, Particle in a 1D infinite and finite well, quantum tunneling, Kronig Penney model, Energy bands in solids 6. Density of states, Fermi-Dirac statistics, Chemical potential, Brillouin zone, E-k diagram, Effective mass 7. Mechanical and Thermal behavior 8.
