C. Venkataseshaiah

Dr. C. Venkataseshaiah was born in 1943. He obtained his B.E. in Electrical Engg. from S.V. University in 1964, M.E. in High Voltage Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1966 and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engg. from IIT Madras in 1976. He joined the faculty of the Department of Electrical Engg. in 1966. Since 1993, he has been a Professor, working in the power systems and High Voltage Section. He has forty research papers. He has participated in a number of sponsored and consultancy projects. His current area of work are: Electrical power Quality, Flexible AC Transmission, Electromagnetic Compatibility, fault diagnosis and condition monitoring of high voltage power apparatus.
