Speaker:  K Sahitya Yadav (EE13D046) Guide:      Prof. R Sarathi ABSTRACT Recent work indicates the failure of transformer insulation due to copper sulphide diffusion in pressboard insulating material. Therefore,  attempt has been made to understand the impact of copper sulphide diffusion into the pressboard material on its dielectric properties. The experimental results of dielectric behavior of transformer oil affected by copper sulphide diffusion will be discussed and the mechanisms of failure will be elucidated.
