- Principal Project Officer
- Project Officer/Project Associate
- Project Technician/Project Assistant
For Research and development in the following areas:
- RF and Optical MEMS/NEMS
- BioMEMS/NEMS
- Nanophotonics
- Characterization and Reliability of nanostructures
The initial appointment for all posts will be for one year but can be extended upto 5 Years.
Details of the pay scale and required qualifications for the positions are:
- Principal Project Officer
Rs.50,000 - Rs.59,000
M.Tech/Ph.D in Engineering/Science
Seven Years Experience in Microelectronics Industry/Research Lab
- Project Officer
Rs.20,000 - Rs.29,000
M.Tech/M.E/Ph.D in Engineering/Science
Two Years Experience in Microelectronics Industry/Research Lab
- Project Associate
Rs.15,000 - Rs.20,000
B.Tech/B.E/AMIE/M.Sc in Engineering/Science
Gate Qualification is desirable
- Project Technician
Rs.7,000 - Rs.12,000
Diploma in ECE/EE/ME/ITI Certificate in relevant field/B.Sc.
- Project Assistant
Rs.7,000 - Rs.12,000
A Bachelor's Degree in any science subject
Marks: 60% or 6.5 CGPA and above in the qualifying degree (except Ph.D.) for all the above posts.
Project associates/officers will be eligible for admission in the Master of Science (MS by research)/PhD Program - as relevant - subject to the norms and admission criteria of IIT Madras.
